Work Beyond Walls

Culture, technology and space working together.

Free to attend. Registration required.

“When we step beyond the walls we see what is possible.”
Work Beyond Walls · The Boiler Shop · Newcastle
WHY WE EXIST

The Boiler Shop once built the future. We're here to reimagine how we can work within it.

The walls here are worth keeping. The walls worth leaving behind are the invisible ones: that work means a desk, that the office is just a cost, that the real conversation about work happens 250 miles south.
Inside the Boiler Shop — roof trusses and skylights
TWO DAYS. FOUR MOVEMENTS.

The Experience

Less show. More work. Every chair sat in and every opinion logged becomes shared evidence.

09:00 • BOTH DAYS
Step In

For HR & people leaders
ONE EVENT. YOUR INVITATION.

Who it's for

Nobody here will ask an HR director to care about furniture. This is for people who shape the places where work actually happens.

Architects & Designers

Specify with confidence. Experience products in real settings before you recommend them. Meet peers and manufacturers. Bring the client who needs convincing.

Business Leaders

Your office is costing you people. Spend a day in one that isn't. See culture, technology and space working together for performance and belonging.

HR & People Leaders

Evidence, not opinion. Live data and real settings give you ammunition for the conversations that matter with your board.

Public Sector & Estates

De-risk big decisions. Benchmarks, suppliers, procurement connections and proof — all in one place, one train stop from your desk.

Plus One Welcome

Every registration includes a Plus One. Bring your client, your MD, your head of estates — the person a better workplace actually belongs to.

POWERED BY WORKPULSE

The audience is the dataset.

No design event in the country has this. WorkPulse — the North East's workplace evidence platform — runs before, during and after the event.
